Gynecology deals with all aspects of women’s reproductive health that isn’t covered in obstetrics. This includes treatment starting at the onset of puberty, through adulthood, menopause, and beyond.
Women generally see their gynecologists for routine Pap smears and pelvic exams. They may also come in for infections, or if they notice any pain or discomfort in their genitals or breasts. Gynecologists also assist with contraception and infertility issues.
Our doctors are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of any issues a woman experiences with her reproductive organs. This includes yeast infections, bacterial infections, painful or irregular menstruation, pain during or after intercourse, and diseases related to menopause. We also diagnose and treat ovarian, uterin, cervical, vaginal, and fallopian tube cancer.
